This article provides steps to connect your Twitter account to live stream with Socialive. A Socialive administrator can authorize Twitter accounts as distribution channels within Socialive, allowing any user on their Socialive account to stream to those Twitter pages.
Prerequisites
To connect your Twitter account to Socialive, you need to be a Socialive administrator in your Socialive account.
Process
In Socialive Studio, on the left-side panel, under the Broadcast Live tab, click the Twitter icon.
In the pop-up that appears, click Add account.
A pop-up window will appear. You will be prompted to log into your Twitter account and authorize Socialive for Twitter to access your account.
Once you authorize your Twitter account, it will appear on the list of accounts you can stream to.
When you are ready to stream to Twitter, make sure you toggle on the account you want to stream to.
Edit the name of your stream and select if you want to tweet the broadcast. This field has a 140 character limit and will become the copy of your tweet.
Click Done.
Click Start Broadcast to start your stream.
