This article provides instructions on how to connect your LinkedIn account to Socialive. Integrating LinkedIn with Socialive allows you to send recordings directly from Socialive to LinkedIn.
Prerequisites
To connect LinkedIn to Socialive, you need to:
Have a company page on your LinkedIn account.
Be an Administrator in your Socialive account.
Open Account Settings.
Click Integrations.
Click Add Integration
Select LinkedIn.
Add an integration title (or use the default) and click Save.
Giving a title is useful when creating integrations for different departments. For example, “Send to Marketing LinkedIn” versus the default “Send to LinkedIn.”
Authenticate your LinkedIn Account ID to connect or select an existing authentication. If authenticating for the first time, click New Authentication.
Add the Authentication Name and click Create.
Sign in to LinkedIn to view the authentication confirmation and click Allow.
On the next screen, enter your Organization ID and click Finish
This can be found in your company's LinkedIn URL.
For example, if the URL is https://www.linkedin.com/company/12345678, the Organization ID is 12345678
Sending Recordings to LinkedIn
The video must be less than 30 minutes in duration.
The file size must be less than 200 Mb.
An email notification will be sent when the upload is complete or if there is an issue with sending it to LinkedIn. The email will provide a link to the video on LinkedIn.
Transfer times may vary depending on the file size, but most files will be uploaded within 15 minutes.
Additional time may be required for the video to process on LinkedIn.
