We’ve introduced a new enhancement to improve visibility and speed up review cycles for collaborative video projects: completion notifications for Invite to Record requests sent from a Project.
This update streamlines the Invite to Record workflow by automatically informing stakeholders when content is ready for review, making collaboration faster, clearer, and more efficient across projects.
What’s New
When a Creator, Producer, or Admin sends an Invite to Record request from within a Project, they will now automatically receive an email notification once the Contributor has completed their recording.
This notification confirms that:
The Contributor has submitted their recording
The content is now available and ready for review within the project
Why This Matters
Previously, senders needed to manually check the project to see whether a recording had been completed. This update removes that friction by providing proactive updates, helping teams:
Stay informed without Project checking
Speed up review and approval cycles
Improve coordination between Contributors and internal stakeholders
Reduce delays in content production workflows
How It Works
A Creator, Producer, or Admin sends an Invite to Record from a project
The Contributor completes and submits their recording
If the toggle has been turned on, the sender automatically receives an email notification confirming completion
The recording is immediately available in the project for review
