Spaces allow Socialive Admins to create multiple areas dedicated to specific projects or teams within one Socialive account. This functionality enables Admins to restrict user access within a Space, ensuring the right individuals can access what they need, which includes media assets.
When media is uploaded to a Space, any user with the proper role within it can access it. This is useful for keeping video content assets on brand and approved by internal departments. In this article, we will review how to manage media assets within a Space.
Within a Space, media assets can be imported by opening the Library, clicking the Media tab, and then clicking Upload new asset. This area manages media for the entire space.
Studio Sessions
All sessions within this Space will have access to the media uploaded.
All media assets uploaded here can be accessed in Studio by Producers and used in a session.
Any media uploaded in the Studio within this Space will be added to this Media library tab.
Editor
All media assets uploaded here can be accessed in Editor.
Any media uploaded in the Studio within this Space will be added to this Media library - which can then be used in the Editor.
Any media uploaded to the Space can be used in the Editor.
Overlays, an additional overlay visual asset displayed in the recording, and any media asset can be selected in the Space to act as this overlay. Note that this differs from how Studio operates in that Studio offers a library of layout assets uploaded by the specific user.
