Upload prerecorded video files directly to the Socialive Portal and add them to a channel's Recordings Library. This is useful when you have a video file saved on your computer that you want to make available in Socialive without recording it directly in the platform.
Before You Begin
Make sure the video file is saved on your computer and ready to upload.
Supported video formats include MP4, MPEG, MOV, WebM, and AVI.
ProRes files are not supported.
The maximum supported file size is 9999 GB.
Process
In Socialive homepage, click Create, then Upload
In the pop-up that appears, select the space where you want to upload the recording.
Click Upload Files and select the videos you want to upload.
Wait for the videos to upload completely.
Once the videos are uploaded, you can leave Socialive while the videos are processing.
