Role Summary
The role of Contributor is an account-level user role within Socialive. This user role is able to join sessions and contribute videos to the Recordings Library through both desktop and mobile apps. This user role is best used to capture or upload the pre-recorded video to Socialive without a producer and without joining the Green Room.
Once content has been recorded, that content uploads automatically into the Recordings Library to be further produced/edited/ or repurposed.
The following outlines the available methods for Contributors to contribute content:
- Record directly within the mobile app
- Upload videos from a device’s camera roll

- Join the Green Room (from the desktop and the mobile app) and record
