Contributors can record content in the Recording Booth by logging into Socialive or accessing it with a personalized link shared by a Creator, Producer, or Admin. This article explains how to create a Recording Booth link.
In Socialive Portal, click the Create menu and select Recording Booth Invite.
Select the Space to which the recording will be saved and add the contributor's email address to which the link will be assigned.
Select their name from the dropdown if the user exists in Socialive as a Contributor. If the account already exists in Socialive, simply copy the personalized link and share it with the Contributor.
Leave the user field blank when creating a generic link. Generic links can be used anytime by any Contributor and require a Socialive login.
If the account is a new user, enter the full name of the new user account and click Create User.
If a name is added and the Create User button is not clicked, the account or link will not be created.
Enter an optional recording prompt or script for the Contributor to use as a guide during their recording.
Click Copy.
Once copied, the link can be shared with contributors who need direct access to a Recording Booth. When selecting a user, this link allows contributors to launch the Recording Booth and start recording video content without a manual login.
Additional Details
If the user invited holds a Guest role in your account, you must change their account to Contributor for the link to work as intended.
