Sending Recordings to Sprout Social

Socialive's Integrations feature allows users to send their video assets directly to popular enterprise tools such as storage apps, video platforms, marketing tools, and other video editing software platforms with the click of a button.

Currently, Sprout Social does not have an API that Socialive can integrate with for uploading recordings directly from the Recordings library. However, Socialive users can use existing Sprout and Socialive integrations with Google Drive and Dropbox to bridge the gap. The steps below describe how to do this.

Process

Step 1 - Configure Socialive Integrations

In Socialive, make sure you are connected to your Google Drive or Dropbox account. If you have not yet configured one of these integrations follow the steps in the articles below to connect your storage platform with Socialive:

Step 2 - Send Recordings to Integrated Applications

Once you have configured the integrations to either storage platform, go to the Recordings library and send the desired recording to the storage platform. For instructions, follow the steps in the article below:

Step 3 - Add Recordings to Messages in Sprout Social

In Sprout Social, adding your recordings to a message is as simple as clicking the Import from Asset Library icon and selecting the asset(s) you want to attach to the post.

Follow the steps in the below articles to add your recordings from Google Drive or Dropbox into a message in Sprout Social.
