After completing a recording, you may want to grab highlights from the recording to share with your internal team, post to your social channels, or use in a future session. This article will review the steps to create a clip and send it to Socialive Studio.
To clip recordings and send them back to the studio, you must be an Administrator or Producer in your Socialive account.
Within Portal, select the appropriate Space and navigate to Library. A list of recordings will be displayed that can be searched by user and sorted by title, creation date, and user created by.
Click the thumbnail of the recording you want to clip and re-use to view the recording details page.
Click Clip video in the left panel.
Create a clip of the desired video portion in the pop-up that appears.
Note - You can open this video in the Editor or continue creating a clip.
Click Create Clip.
The clip will appear in the Clips tab of the video details page. Click the clip to open.
To send the created clip to Studio, Click Send to Studio to re-use. When you send a clip to the studio, you will see a confirmation message at the top-right corner, indicating the clip was sent successfully.
The next time you enter the Studio, go to the Media tab to find your clip to use in the session.
